Hi everyone welcome to my new shop Glorious Co. I opened this wee shop in the fourth bedroom in my new home in Christchurch New Zealand almost two years ago. I was initially interested in selling christian based gifts from the UK mostly, and also started up a series of Bible Decorating classes at my home. Unfortunately Brexit stopped me being able to order the bibles and journals etc I was purchasing, and I figured it God totally shutting a door, and for me to finally get my act together and create my own jewellery line!

I find it so exciting to start up my creative side after years and years of honestly struggling with motherhood (I had post natal depression after having my daughter, and went through a couple of rounds of IVF to have help creating her which was all a struggle but worth it. She is also super stroppy which may be from my side of the family!) Anyway my creative side went abit south. But I remember after moving to Auckland, the largest city in NZ, I was in a mall and saw in the window of a store what I thought of as a God charm bracelet. It probably had a cross, maybe a heart, a crown perhaps...anyway to me it really represented God. I thought I could maybe make one of those one day!

Many years later once I had my daughter and was really struggling in a brand new church environment, I remember praying for a new friend. Well I kind of meant in the church I was actually attending in Auckland but God knew what I needed, and I connected with a wonderful woman of God all the way in New Mexico! She makes all sorts of christian and catholic jewellery and I love her work! I remember receiving my first ETSY purchase from her, a pair of lovely peridot dangly earrings. I loved how she showed Jesus in her designs. She has inspired me ever since. I love having a friend that creates in me a desire to be all I am meant to be and can do. Even if I am rather slow!! So after years (and years!) of buying beads and charms I am slowly making my own pieces. And its exciting!

So welcome to my new shop, I also have a website you can see in my bio, it will be nice to hopefully send my pieces all over the world.
